Part 2: Restore WhatsApp Messages from Windows Phone
Part 1. Back Up WhatsApp Messages from Windows PhoneStep 1. Run WhatsApp manager on your Windows phone.
Step 2. Tap the three-dot menu icon in the bottom right corner as the screenshot shows.
Step 3. Go to Settings > Chat Settings > backup.
Part 2. Restore WhatsApp Messages from Windows PhoneStep 1. Uninstall WhatsApp manager on your Windows phone.
Step 2. Download WhatsApp manager from Google Play and install it on the smartphone.
Step 3. Run the application.
Step 4. When being asked whether to restore your message history from backup or not, select the "Restore" button at the bottom.
Warm Tips for You:
If you are not prompted to restore your messages, it could be that:
- Your SD card and/or chat history is corrupted.
- Your backup is too old. WhatsApp cannot restore backups that are too old.
- You have a different phone number than when you backed up your chats.
In any of these cases, there is no way for us to restore the messages for you.
