Some iPhone users will find that they fail to send iMessages to their friends. You might have no idea why it happens, how to stop this and what to do next. Today, in this article, I will show you how to fix iMessages not sending issue on your own. There are several solutions provided for you.

Tutorial 1: Send as SMS

If your iMessages doesn't work, you can send the messages as an SMS.
Firstly, make sure that you've turned on "Send as SMS". Go to "Settings" > "Messages" and find "Send as SMS" and turn the toggle on.

After that, when your iMessages can't be sent successfully, long press on the messages that you are sending and choose "Send as SMS" in the pop-up choice. Then the messages will be sent as a SMS shown in green bubble. (iMessages will be shown in blue and SMS will be shown in green for iOS devices).

Tutorial 2: Reset Network Settings

If you think that the first solution is not the easiest one for you, you can follow solution 2 as well. In this part, I will show you how to fix iMessages not sending by resetting network settings on iPhone.

Firstly, go to "Settings" > "General" and then scroll down to the bottom to check the reset option. Tap on "Reset" and you will be shown several choices to reset all your settings, network settings or keyboard dictionary and more. Just choose "Reset Network Settings" on the interface and tap on it again to confirm the operation.

After that, you can send iMessages with ease. But if the iMessages issues still happen after you follow what the solution 2 ask you to do, you can follow the below solution.

Tutorial 3: Reboot iPhone

If you still can't send iMessages after the steps above, this might be the temporary malfunction of the operating system. You just need to long pressing the power button to turn your iPhone off and press the same button to turn it on. After rebooting your iPhone, you will find that the iMessages not sending issue for your iPhone 6s Plus is solved.
