Step 1. Connect Android to PC
Open Android Data Recovery. Then connect your Android phone to the computer using the USB cable and enable the USB debugging on your Android. Then the device will be detected by the PC and installed.
Step 2. Select File Types to Scan
When your phone is successfully connected, you can select file types to scan. Mark "Gallery", "Picture Library", and "Videos" in the menu. Click "Next". The program will scan all the photos and videos even the deleted items in the Android phone.
1. In Gallery, there are pictures captured by the mobile camera, transferred from PC or Bluetooth, and screenshot by the phone.
2. In Picture Library, you can find out and recover cache images.
3. In the category of Videos, there are movies, videos taken by the mobile phone, etc.
Step 3. Allow Program to Access Android
Go to your Android phone. Hit "Allow/Grant/Authorize" in the pop-up. This will allow the program to access your Android phone and scan all the files there.
Step 4. Selectively Preview and Recover Android Photos and Videos
When scanning is finished, select "Gallery", "Picture Library", and "Videos" at the left pane. Then you can preview them in details. Note that names of deleted items are written in red. Then you can select the ones you need and click "Recover". They will be retrieved and stored in your PC.
