Go to "Settings" > "Battery" and you will see the apps sorted according to the battery percentage that has killed. You can browse the apps and stop them from running in the background.
Note: You can uninstall the apps which has dread lots of battery if you don't use them frequently according to this report.
Part 2: Stop Apps from Running in BackgroundGo to "Settings" > "Apps" and choose an app that kill most battery on your Android phone. Let's take Chrome browser for example. Choose "Chrome" from the interface and you will be shown the info of this app. Tap on "FORCE STOP" to stop the apps from running in the background. If it is the app that you don't want to use any more, you can choose "DISABLE" to disable the app as you wish.
This will help you save the battery and storage of your Android phone. But this might be a tedious task if there're a great number of apps on your Android phone. In this regard, you'd better find some third-party app manager to help you optimize your Android phone.
